Strawberry Frose

Kristin | July 18, 2017

I highly suggest everyone give these a try this weekend. THEY ARE SO GOOD. It's like a grown up version of a slushy. These are totally appropriate for my daughter's first birthday party, right? ;)

Frosé is the trendiest of drinks these days, and adding fresh strawberries was the perfect way to make it my own. This cool treat will definitely be a staple at your summer pool parties. You guys will love how simple this drink is to make. Want to know my favorite part about this cocktail? All the ingredients I need can already be found in my kitchen! Make a huge batch the night before your next event and treat yourself to this delicious and energizing strawberry frose to beat the midsummer heat.

Directions

Pour bottle of rose into a 9x13 baking dish. Place in freezer overnight.

Add strawberries and sugar to a medium saucepan. Simmer for 30 minutes. Strain syrup mixture through a fine mesh strainer and place in fridge to cool.

Once syrup mixture is cool, pour in blender along with a handful of ice. Then scrape the frozen rose into the blender. Blend until combined. Place blender in freezer until ready to serve!
