Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and this year it’s especially exciting because it’s the first time I will be celebrating as a new mom! We welcomed our sweet girl Piper into the world this past August, so now my appreciation and gratitude for my own mother has come full circle.
One way I think anyone can make their mother feel especially loved on Mother’s Day is by creating something to share with her – like these gorgeous white chocolate and rosé covered strawberries. Because let’s be honest – if there’s anything that your mom deserves on Mother’s Day, it’s rosé!
The great news is that while these are so beautiful for Mother's Day, I also think they would be perfect for a bridal or baby shower. I used edible gold flakes that you can purchase from Amazon, which might be the coolest thing ever. To get the pink ombre affect, I slowly added 3 drops of red food coloring and 1 drop of yellow to the chocolate after every two strawberries. These were delicious and since I know you are all wondering, you can definitely taste the rosé!

1lb California Giant strawberries
1 bottle of your favorite rosé
22 oz white chocolate chips
Red and yellow food coloring
Edible gold flakes, gold dust, gold and pink sprinkles, edible pearls for decorating
Soak strawberries in half a bottle of rosé. You can soak them for a few hours or overnight, depending on how strong of a taste you prefer. After soaking, dry strawberries well with a paper towel.
Heat white chocolate chips in microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until melted. Add 3 drops red and 1 drop yellow food coloring to chocolate. This will create a light pink color. To get the ombre pink look, slowly continue to add 3 drops red and 1 drop yellow after every two strawberries you dip.
Decorate with edible gold flakes, gold dust, sprinkles and pearls! Serve with the remaining rosé.
