Junior Chefs: A Series About Kids In The Kitchen

Cindy | June 21, 2014

I am a firm believer that the best way to develop healthy eating habits is to start young. It's a common stereotype that kids don't like fresh ingredients, but when fresh ingredients is all they know--that's what becomes the norm, and that becomes what they crave.

So rather than processed snacks and questionable ingredients, we spent a fun-filled day out in the sun today to make and film some sweet and savory berry-filled treats that kids will love! Here's a sneak peak of some of the photo shoot and our new "Junior Chefs" video series featuring food lovers like our very own brand ambassador, Brandie from Spoon and Saucer--stay tuned for the finished take! Recipes include berry smoothies, berry skewers and even berry pizza. Like we said; the key ingredient we want future generations to focus on (besides deliciously sweet berries) is fresh food!!

A lot of people ask about "the person behind the posts" on The Buzz. Who is THAT knowledgeable about all things berry-related?
