Happy 2019! I hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family and loved ones. For me, the beginning of a new year is a fresh, clean start; something to look forward to. But this year, we've decided to do something a little different. Instead of making self-improvement related New Years Resolutions, we are encouraging self-love of what we already have.
January is one of the hardest months of the year. It seems like every gym is bombarding you about losing weight and getting fit, not to mention the posts with #NewYearNewMe and #Fitspiration on your social media feed. There is so much pressure on us to be perfect.
So many people are doubting how they look, counting how many gym classes they go to or counting how many calories they consume. But within the last few years, a movement has been growing; one of of self-acceptance, or self-love.
I truly believe that we have become too critical of ourselves. That's why this month we are encouraging self-confidence and taking care of our bodies inside and out.
